Grace in Motion, Crafted by Hand

This enchanting Tanjore Female Horse & Rider Doll depicts a graceful woman in full traditional attire, seated regally atop a ceremonially adorned horse. Handcrafted in the centuries-old Thanjavur tradition of Tamil Nadu, every detail — from her bindi and colourful hair adornments to the gold jewellery at her chest — is painted with extraordinary care.

She wears a rich red garment with intricate gold embellishments, and her horse is dressed in ceremonial pink and gold trappings with the iconic yellow pleated Tanjore base that gives the piece its signature gentle sway.
